Hello to all Bigfooters! I am Marcus Daily, publisher of the forthcoming book, Hacking Bigfoot. It has been a while since I set up this site. I mistimed when I would actually be able to finish the book. Each time I thought it was done, I found new discoveries, or at least new to me. I would rather wait and get it right, rather than publish, then realize I need a version 2. Bigfoot is an all-consuming quest that always seems to require more and more analysis. It has reached a point where I have to assemble what I have completed.
I also had big ideas on making an audiobook. It’s a lot more challenging than I realized. One thing I know for sure is I am really put off by AI narration. So that’s not an option. I’m working on a solution and it will be a quality output when it’s done. I have high standards for the technical side of things.
AI development moves so fast that in the time since I wrote the above, an AI narration solution has become available. Not only does it solve the hassle of trying to do it myself or hire someone, it has enabled me to create a template for future non-fiction audiobooks.
So the ebook and print formats at Amazon will be first, then audiobook and other sales platforms. I am targeting summer ’25 which is well over a year since I thought this project would be completed.
Anyone who has visited this site with curiosity, thank you for your time. A pretty good Bigfoot book is on its way for sure. I hope you give it a shot when it’s out.
